Maya 101: Create New Project
Using Maya 2016
1) Run Maya
2) Create New Project
2.1) Select File/Project Window.
2.2) Click New button and type your project name, e.g. Solar System.
2.3) Leave the rest as it is. Click Accept.
3) Check
You can check that you project has been created successfully by selecting File/Set Project…
Take note of your project folder path. You require this information later on.
Your project folder contains the following files/folders.
